THINGS TO BRING TO A GATHERING

Normal camping stuff (this varies depending on “how” you camp):

  • Sleeping bag/hammock, blanket, tent/tarp, toilet paper/paper towels.
  • Check the weather: rain gear, appropriate clothes, etc…
  • PLATE, CUP or BOWL, and SPOON: this will be your food dish. You will eat out of it so this is VERY IMPORTANT. Biodegradeable soaps and stuff.
  • WATER, WATER, WATER, and more WATER: Drinkable water is a very precious comodity. If you can hike some in… or bring some to the lot and ask for some help to hike it you will make many people happy. Pretty much all you get to drink at Rainbow gatherings is water coffee and tea. If you don’t like coffee or tea, you may want to bring powdered drink mix (with the sugar already added).
  • Sweets (especially chocolate).
  • Fruits and Vegetables. Bring extra if you can to donate to the kitchens.
  • Tools if you can (i.e. knife, axe, saw) There will always be firewood that needs cuttin’.
  • Musical instruments (non-electrical)
  • Poetry

When its time to go

Posted: June 2, 2016 in Uncategorized

Dreading seeing you because I have to leave. Dreading the moment our lips part  during our final kiss. My wee little heart is gonna burst into tears and resort to tons of beers! My spring has been loaded with smiles of joy. Thank you for running with love and not looking back.  Trusting your heart and openly loving. Scary moments when you realised you fell for my smile made me fall deeper for your soul. Trust me, this spiritual spiral is intense for me as well. But ill give anything to hold on to these butterflies.

So now I depart this desert Oasis and soon return to my sea. My sea of joy and harbor full of peace. Spinning fire on the beach and running in the rain. Drinking my coffee every morning as I watch them off load today’s catch. This peace is hard to compete and the sea lions never miss their beat. One day I will return, untill then ill keep spinning this love churn 🙂
